About Us

This enchanting privately owned 16th Century manor house, now converted into an award-winning 21 bedroom hotel and restaurant, is located in the picturesque village of Corfe Castle, which lies in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck. Mortons House is one of the earliest in Corfe and definitely the finest. Dating back to circa 1590, this Elizabethan Manor House has oodles of charm and character and is located just a few miles from some of the finest beaches in the country ~ Studland, Swanage, Lulworth and Durdle Door.

Mortons House Hotel lies in the shadow of the magnificent castle and with the nostalgic sight of the Steam trains on their way to Swanage, it really is rather special.
