'Re over night stay' 

My husband and I were very impressed with this hotel, I had read the reviews before booking and it look and sound lovely they did not fail us because it was lovely, clean, warm, very friendly, comfortable and the food was fantastic ( or though I would have preferred real tomatoes not tinned!) the price we payed for all we got was very good too. We have stayed in a lot of hotels on our own and as a family and we would decently go back here again very soon.,

'Old Fashioned Warmth.' 

I only stayed at The Peel Aldergate for one night but it was enough for me to experience the old fashioned charm of the people who run it. Extremely helpful staff and the food was incredible and served piping hot which is rare in these fast food times. Highly recommended and would stay there again. From Canada.

Nice, cosy and clean place. Absolutely friendly people, great dinner. Relaxed stay exactly what you need after a business day. Great choice of breakfast menue for a perfect start. No question that I'll come back whenever business brings me in this area.

'Staying between Christmas and new year 2011' 

We are actually 2 adults with 13 year old son and we had a twin room so our son very pleased to have a double bed to himself. We were visiting family in Tamworth and Cannock so excellent location. Water wonderfully hot. Room rather too hot but we were able to cool it down our selves. Breakfast excellent especially as Pauline made the effort to get vegetarian food in for us. Would stay again.

'Excellent.' 

Once again we were not disappointed with our stay at The Peel Aldergate. This is our third stay and we received, as previously, a very warm welcome on our arrival. The rooms are decorated to an extremely high standard and are always spotlessly clean. Nothing is too much trouble and we will definately stay again. The breakfast is a delight. There is plenty of choice and always piping hot. We would definately recommend The Peel Aldergate.

Very friendly staff who could not have been more helpful. Friendly owners. Great food in restaurant. Clean rooms, thoughtfully prepared. Car parking not as limited as first appears with additional secure parking next door.

'great place to stay' 

We stayed for two nights and had a fab stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly and helpful.Very clean and presented well. Huge choice both at breakfast and Dinner. We sampled both and it was beautiful. The Peel is right in the centre of Tamworth.In easy reach of Drayton Manor Theme Park. We would recommend to anyone.

'Weekend away'

'Excellent in every way ' 

The serivce from the staff was just the best I have ever had. I booked a room as a treat for my fiances birthday, was delayed and didn't manage to buy the half bottle of champagne I planned as a welcome treat. When I asked the staff They didnt't have one at the hotel bar, but one of them zipped out to but it. Priceless! The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom great with a fine shower. Even with out all thse pluses I'd recommend a stay at the Peel for the food. The restaurant food is superb. Inventive and orginal, very well cooked, and very reasonable in price. All in all, a superb stay. Thank you all!
