About Us

The Havelock was originally built as a gentleman's residence and over the years has been sympathetically renovated and extended to provide a mixture of 22 superb bedrooms and family suites. Set in attractive gardens, overlooking the sea and with it's own Mediterranean style heated pool (open mid-May to mid-September), we offer the ideal location to relax and unwind.

Open 16th March - 3rd November 2012, and located in a fantastic position; we're just a few minutes walk from the sea, Shanklin Chine, Keats Green and Shanklin Old Village - which is home to a wide variety of excellent restaurants, bistro's, cafe's and pubs.

All bedrooms are en-suite, they have been tastefully decorated and furnished; many also have sea views. Our licensed bar is open from 12-5pm and 6-11pm daily (10:30pm closing on Sundays and Bank holidays).

The establishment is a non-smoking establishment, although ashtrays are provided on the terraces.

Free private car parks at front and rear of hotel.

WiFi is available in the guest lounge and some bedrooms.

Irons & ironing boards are available on request.

Children are welcome over the age of 5 years old. Childrens rates apply to 5 - 14 year olds, children 15 years and over - adult rates apply.
