About Us

Thornloe is a substantial Victorian House on 3 floors situated on a hill, just behind George Street with many excellent restaurants nearby.It is quiet and overlooks Oban Bay with stunning views towards the Isle of Kerrera and across to Mull. We are just 5 minutes walk from the Town centre. All our 7 rooms have their own bathrooms plus Flat Screen Tvs with freeview.Many rooms also have their own silent mini fridge.All bedrooms are situated on the first or second floors.

There is a guest lounge available in our conservatory with Sky tv-please note we are not licensed. Free Wi-Fi.

Thornloe is completely non-smoking including the house and grounds.

Oban is an excellent base to explore the islands as well as the local attractions such as Oban Distillery and Cruachan Power Station.
