About Us

Our Georgian home built in 1832 has been lovingly upgraded to a 4 star quality guest house. We offer twin, double and family en-suite accommodation just 1 mile from Edinburgh city centre.From the Sherwood it is only a 15 min. walk to The Castle,The Royal Mile & Princes St. one of Scotland's premier shopping areas. We are in the Newington area of Edinburgh which boasts many excellent restaurants,cafes,bars,hotels & all other forms of accommodation, although having found the Sherwood Guest House why go elsewhere.
We have really great deals from September right through to the end of May and though our prices have been reduced even more our standards are as high as ever.
