About Us

Located in the village of Evanton in the picturesque Highlands of Scotland, Kiltearn House is a four star guest house offering hotel luxury with a personal touch.

Built in 1894, this imposing Victorian Sandstone house- a former manse- is set in a beautiful countryside location with magnificent views over the Cromarty Firth. We are situated directly on the foreshore, where you can enjoy stunning scenery. Guests have been known to spot eagles, osprey, seals and even dolphins!

Kiltearn House provides an ideal base for exploring northern Scotland as well as the West Coast and the Islands. Major fishing rivers and many of Scotland's finest golf courses are within easy travelling distance.

Enjoy Aga cooked breakfasts and homemade evening meals, using the best of locally sourced, in season produce. We are fully licensed and guests are invited to choose from our carefully selected list of wines and spirits. There is also a courtesy bar for your convenience.
